To complete my BFA in Communication Design from Miami University, I chose to pursue my love of storytelling and illustration to solve the problem statement of, “how can I combine my interests in Japanese language and design through storytelling?”. Through this project, I was able to connect my minor in Japanese language with my major to create a printed storytelling experience in English and Japanese, supported by a hands-on capsule toy game and full exhibition installation.
